Wow. Just... wow. This was amazing. I loved how the talk with the psych was after the story, and not before/during. And how Rodney drove him to seek help. And the SGC being bitches once again *shakes fists at them*.
And the very much bittersweet ending with the light at the end of the tunnel, but we're not quite there yet. It almost makes me want a sequel, but I think it's good as is.

Marvelous. You did so very well showing what John couldn't say, couldn't do, and how well Rodney knows him. The final violence was just perfect, just enough to snap him out of his whole denied self-pity fest and I'm so glad that he's actually trying, for Rodney's, for both of their sakes. I really felt you captured them, quite beautifully. Lovely story.

Wow. What a hard, painful little story. John is so obviously struggling, and Rodney wants to help so much...and the SGC need a swift kick, as usual.
