Oh, yes. It's been so long since a fic made me cry. Thank you. Your drunk!John was probably my favorite I've ever read (which may seem like a funny thing to focus on, but a drunk!character seems a difficult thing to get right). "Don't want to go home," says John. He lets go of Rodney and spins out into the middle of the street, arms raised. He feels free. The night air is cool and soft, the sky is beautiful and open, and for the first time in ages he's not alone. "Stay with me, Rodney."
