Radek practically ran most of the way back to the village, the ZPM tucked carefully under his arm. He wanted to meet up with the rest of the team so they could get things underway for getting back to Atlantis and running their tests

Beside Evan, Keras smiled and waved at the girls still trailing behind Radek. He squatted down in front of them and said, "Cleya, Matra. Having a good day?"
"He gave us sweets, Keras," the older girl said.
"That was very kind of him," Keras told them. "You two head home, I can watch them for a while. I'm sure Tella could use some help getting the toddlers' meal ready. Go, go on."
He shooed them away, and with a few last hungry looks at Radek's pockets the girls took off.
"Oh, none taken. I understand the feeling. I'm sure a day or two's walk to the other villages must not seem far to you, but it's certainly long enough to miss home."
"That is your ship?" Keras looked rather disappointed and surprised when he saw the jumper. "I imagined it would be larger. And have wings. It looks more like a sliced tuckle root than something that could fly."
