Adam was quite pleased as he left his quarters. The day had been quite a success so far. The mission had been a piece of cake, he'd written his report in record time. He'd spend some time doing target practise and then went to the gym. In about half an hour he had a date with Kate, but he wanted to check in with Peter Grodin first.

( Dressed in civvies he made his way to the control room. )

Kate heard the door and thought that it must be Adam so when she got up and opened the door, she gave him a smile. "Hi there," she said before reaching up for a kiss.

The moment Adam stepped into Kate's rooms, her arms went around his neck and he was pulled in for a kiss. "Hmmm," Adam mumbled when she pulled away from him again. "Now that's a welcome. Did you miss me?"

"I did," Kate said as she pulled him further into the room. They hadn't decided what they were doing yet but she was game for anything.

Adam let her pull him along. He enjoyed being like this with her. "So, did you have any plans for tonight?" he asked, and winked at her. "Apart from the obvious that is."

Kate grinned at her lover. She enjoyed his playfulness and it certainly went a long way in brightening her day. "Apart from the obvious, that would be a nope," she replied with a wink of her own. "You can come up with the master plan."
