The Campaign: While there were some pretty big laughs in the first half of The Campaign, I couldn't help but feel the same kind of depression that sometimes hits me while watching The Daily Show: our system is really broken. (8/14/12)
Jeff, Who Lives at Home: I think there were some expectations that this would be the next hilarious gross-out comedy, but a more accurate sum-up of this great film would be, "Four characters have a life-changing day, and here it is." (7/22/12)
Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol: Simon Pegg, I saw this for you, and you did not disappoint (and the movie on a whole was pretty entertaining too). (8/5/12)
The Rum Diary: Beautiful writing, parts that made me laugh out loud, and the simple awesomeness of Johhny Depp had me hooked; however, I will say it seemed to lack focus at times, and the ending was a bit of a letdown. (7/4/12)
The Avengers: Yes, we all know how awesome Robert Downey, Jr. is, but the big surprise was seeing Mark Ruffalo in what may have been the perfect role for him. (6/19/12)
Bad Teacher: It’s not that it was a bad movie, but if Cameron Diaz’s character was half as cute and charming as Jason Segel’s, I probably would have liked it much more. (6/17/12)
Bottle Shock: Though I learned later of certain historical liberties that were taken, you really can’t go wrong with a quirky indie film about wine starring Alan Rickman. (6/10/12)
