Of course it has a newspaper, and we can call it uh...the Pleasant Times, unless you can come up with a more creative name, then we'll call it something else. XD;
Since I'm apping Kon, who doesn't have his own body, and I don't really want to make him an Ichigo-clone, in case someone apps Ichigo in the future, would it be all right if I just used my own perception of what his own body would look like? :O
I'm not sure if I'm going to app him yet - I have a lot of potential choices - but I had an intriguing thought regarding Schuldig from Weiss Kreuz, who is a telepath in his canon. Basically, given that it's Cold War era, would it be possible for him to have been a product/subject of the military's programs in which they attempted to harness psychic abilities for use in the war? (He has some canonmates with psychic abilities, too, and that question extends to them as well.)
After a lot of thought and consideration, we're just going to keep it as normal as possible. However, if he's an alien, go ahead. XD
Our logic is that everything that exists within the 1950's world is as it was at that time, meaning no genetic mutations (aside from zombies) and no powers. However, anything that exists outside of Earth is possible, like Aliens. 'Cause we like aliens. xD
It does. <3 I can understand not wanting powers - they can unbalance games, especially if some have to be nixed while others can slide through - although given that there were actually experiments into psychic abilities(although I've no real idea how much or how little success they had), I thought that was more or less consistent with the era and world? I guess what I'm saying is that I'm totally sympathetic with you guys deciding against it, but that if that actually was a possibility present in the world at the time, it's more of a gameplay mod call than a it-doesn't-fit-into-the-world issue.
Now I think I'm not making sense. >> Either way, yeah, totally fine. XD I already play Schu in two games anyway so it's not like I had my heart set on him or his telepathy, so I'm cool.
Okay, questions from me too. I have the reserve on Kenren from Saiyuki Gaiden (this is an RP journal but I'm too lazy to log out), and this raises a couple of issues for me

Is it possible for our character to have arrived in Pleasantville while escaping from a zombie-infested area (which is the West Coast, right?)? :3

Does that make any sense?
