There are many friending memes out there that cater to fandoms, but what about that kind of connection for that caters for issues that eat away at us in places where joyful things like fandom can't even reach?

Many of the mental health, abuse survivor and PTSD communities on Livejournal don't seem to be very active these days, leaving it very difficult to find a way to connect with people who experience similar things to you. So I decided to make this friending meme.

If you're in need of people to talk to and reach out to, please feel free to join the friending meme. Post your own comment for people to respond to, and go through other people's posts. Talk, connect, find people whom you know will understand your struggles because they live their own version of those struggles, too. Anyone who has experience of abuse and/or assault, has a mental illness or illnesses, or has PTSD, is welcome to join in.
