I actually see myself this way. Which just goes to show I'm more arrogant than I let on...

As you all have probably encountered too often altogether, I've been bitching about an experiment that I've had to redo a few times now that takes a good 13 hours minimum each time, has to be done in darker-than-hpotolab conditions, and hasn't worked.  It worked this time.  And it worked better than comparable experiments in the literature have.  ( Read more... )

So, I'm about to go into the lab and tell my advisor that I'm leaving with my Masters for sure. But, this is a good thing because I'm not running away from grad school - I'm running to Education.
