my sister got a job offer! i'm really excited/proud of her. it's with some business consulting company offering her $55,000 a year to start and a $10,000 signing bonus. how awesome is that!?! too bad it's in LA but she likes it down there. no more fishing quarters out of fountains to buy food for her.

oh stephanie, i didn't think you were a nerd for keeping the leaf. i thought it was a cool leaf too. looked bloodstained or something. i might just call you a nerd sometimes, but who cares? we know we're nerds anyway, even without saving leaves and bird-watching. after all, we actually ate on the picnic table by the 900 hall. i like being a nerd and never being noticed sometimes. especially at wilson, because the ones who are being noticed are drunks or sluts. or both. no, not the bad kind. you have braces but not glasses (that you wear, at least), and i have glasses but not braces. plus i look russian. so together we're like one nerd, but alone we're only half-nerds. i hope. that was the coolest bird i've ever seen, i have to admit. well, probably not THE coolest, but close. and i did like your poem. i'm only sarcastic in half of all situations, but that wasn't one of them.
