Ok, so I guess I should let everyone know that I'm alive and well in Atlanta. But I really have no excuses for not posting anymore, since I am typing this on my NEW LAPTOP. YAY!!!!!!! I really can't remember the last time I had an internet accessable computer of my own. It's pretty and it's big, and it's mine and I love it. So there ( Read more... )

You live! angelharp42 June 3 2006, 21:44:41 UTC
I can't believe you are FINALLY updating! You missed all the snakey excitement here last weekend. Much screaming and panicky goodness. Snakes in a kitchen!
The family will be pleased at your arrival for the 4th. I don't know if it's at Sigh's or here, but we'll figure it out.

it's on Buford highway, between 285 and Chamblee-Dunwoody. Actually there are several bakery shops, but the best so far is called Master Bakery

I've heard nothing about snakes (unless you're counting the ones on the mothereffing plane, ho hum). Out of the loop again. In other news, YAY for the 4th! And YAY for Guitar Hero! We were doing well at all the songs, but now we're stuck on Bark at the Moon and Cowboys from Hell on Expert. And we probably won't ever beat it. Sigh. But don't feel bad about being booed! It's like sightreading, a skill to be honed with muscle memory. Or something.

Oh the snakiness - very cool! I was sitting at angelharp's kitchen table and the garbage closet was open a little. Out of the corner of my eye I though I saw something move, so I look more directly at the floor, and there is a HUGE snake lifting it's head and looking around.... Craziness ensued, Doug pinning it behind it's head, the snake hissing with it's mouth wide open, Sigh trying to help SSDoug in trying to figure out how to move it without killing it, ending with the aforementioned snake being pitched out in the yard, only to turn around and attempt to get back to the house. So it's picked up again and pitched into the woods. Meanwhile, LM is crying because she doesn't want it killed, and Julianakin is screaming and panicking, amongst yelling of the adults. Fun on the farm!!!
