Not taking my medicine is really stressing me out. My fingers ache from all the blood testing, and I freak out over every little change in my blood sugar. I wonder if mentally now is just not a good time.

So, we are going to a county council meeting tomorrow. I want to make a type of worksheet/guided journal for Flora. I need some input on what I can put on it.
I'm thinking: date of the meeting, a general summary, a space to write what issues were brought up, and a spot for her to write what issue seemed the most important or interesting to her. ( Read more... ) -

Yesterday Flora and I watched the first of our Hitchcock movies - The Lodger. It led to tons of great discussions not only about the film itself, but about Jack the Ripper, fashion and hairstyles in the 20s, why they had to put coins into a little box when the lights went out, the way acting styles have changed over the years. It should surprise no one that I abandoned our schedule and we are back to just going with the flow. We are still using most of the same materials, ditching the schedule.
