you bought a couple of items I'm interested too like HMHM-
Little Red Riding Hood JSK and Autumn Chiffon Blouse.. If the first is not very well done like you say I'll give up on it.. But I don't understand if the Blouse is good or not so much..
Can I ask you how much cost the custom size for R-series blouse? Thank you so much! ♥

I actually just received the same JSK in the mail today, also to custom measurements, and mine is actually very nicely finished and fits the measurements I gave accurately. They straps may be a hair long, but not noticeably so for me. I'm actually very happy with mine. I'm curious about how such a vast gap in quality occurred.

That's great to know! I always seem to be 50/50 on HMHM, I have several items from them I wear ALL the time! And some which I never wear at all due to flaws like in the JSK I received. Do you have a worn picture of yours? And is the bodice lined or is it just a lot nicer job on finishing and matching up everything inside the bodice on yours? You can see from the pictures compared to the other JSKs that the straps are several inches too long on mine (it hits right at the nipples when I tried it on, not to be obscene heh!) That is good news that they are not all like mine! I really loved this jsk when I saw it on the site and I think the problems can be fixed, but I didn't expect a custom garment to have these issues.

I just unwrapped it, but I plan on wearing it to lunch tomorrow, so I'll try and snap a photo. The bodice isn't lined, but everything seems to match up evenly seamwise. I'll take some pictures and pass them along.

Thanks a lot for your review. ^_^ I really enjoyed reading - especially because I was thinking about buying the Surface Spell - Velveteen Embroidery JSK. The velvet looks really "shiny" but I assume that that's only the flashlights? I am a little afraid now from ordering it with the embroidery that is slightly off-center.
Well, I got my Chess Story "Marriage d'amour" JSK today and that one had also that problem that the print is not exactly centered and it still annoys me. -__- I mean when I buy something then it should look like the one on the picture at the online shop...

Howdy! I am so happy you enjoyed my review! I will take a picture of the Surface Spell JSK in Natural light (I had to take these pictures at night unfortunately, so the lighting is not the best in some of the pictures!) So that you can decide how shiny/not shiny the velvet is. It is not as shiny as the pictures, I will tell you that much! Yes the centering is annoying, and I know I would notice it in pictures (even if no one else would notice, heh).

Hi! I just had to comment cause I saw something so awesome. So, and your "red riding hood" jsk actually doesn't look like it shows anything from Red Riding Hood. What it does show is ten times better! The image of a rooster standing on a cat standing on a dog standing on a donkey/horse, and is actually from a little known Grimms' fairy tale titles "The Bremen Musicians

Ah, that is so neat, and that story stirs memories (I think I have heard it before!). The translation is from the store itself, so I didn't name it haha. I really love this print, and there is a D_L post that shows it really well (http://daily-lolita.livejournal.com/5540126.html), so despite the fitting issues, I am really happy to have bought it. Hi there ! I chanced upon your review while browsing through the EGL comm. I was about to purchase some blouses and accessories from Taobao but it seems that a few of my choices which are also in your review do not look as good as they seem. If I had bought some of them I would've been quite disappointed. Thanks for taking the effort to write this !
