Busy day yesterday spent in the pub mostly getting away from the hot weather sorting val's computers and epos system. Spent the evening with the BT outreach team trying to track down why the area doesn't have internet between 8-9pm and 3-4am, learnt a hell of a lot but couldn't find the problem yet but they'll be back again Monday to continue ( Read more... ) -
It's been a busy day
Since breakfast this morning it's been all go today! Mind you it's it's been nice in the pub it's air conditioned in there so yes I was nice and cool today, Val the landlady here has been having problems with her net, so I've spent allday taking down and reseting the entire network for her. Sorry I haven't posted for the past couple of days as I've said before net access around here is hit and miss, I'm settling ok here, the people are friendly and with a good sense of humor, which has made thing go a lot easier with everyone. Well i'm here!!!
Ok the first part of the move has been made I'm now in my tempory accommodation a nice little b&b in a place called Wood Waldern miles from anywhere with wide open countryside as far as the eye can see, just like where like where I was born. Moving
Well I'm moving on friday as I've said in one of my other threads that my landlord has had to make some major changes in his life and has very reluctantly had to ask me to leave, when I was in hospital i was told i was going to placed in monitored accommodation this has just speeded up the process, I don't know where I am going to be yet the ( Read more... ) -
Head stuck in maps!!!!!
Ok I've started, I tend to do the cartography first it makes it easier to build the rest from there because different areas will hold different kinds of people, social groupings and classes, I tend to do the large scale maps first and slowly move in from there adding more detail each time, I'm basing this world loosely on William Gibson's ( Read more... ) -
Time to start building
I think I've got enough notes and ideas plastered everywhere to start to build the world. Ok I know I can't write but I am good at world building, the one I'm working on at the moment is a Cyberpunk world for a few friends to play in. I mainly build AD&D worlds and campaigns which is where I earned my apprenticship and have had a few published.

I'm Moving!
Yes I've got my move date it's the 25th of june 2010 its only to temporary accommodation But its a step in the right direction and I should get my own place in a couple of months so then the fun will really begin! It will take me a while to get myself sorted out but in the end it will be worth it. Watch this space!!!!!
