[ late at night, a message goes out on the PokéGear - ]do you think that if you try hard enough at something, then eventually you'll succeed at it? or are there some things that can't be achieved through just hard work? like, that there are somethings that people are just born good at, and that's something that can't be learned.

i think i would look mostly silly dying for what i want to accomplish haha

but i can understand that feeling, definitely!

If you think that way, then it's probably not worth doing in the first place and you should just give it up.

well, i wouldn't think it was silly! but maybe other people was kind of extreme

i dunno
it would be kinda cool to die for something you really put a lot of effort in, though

even if other people thought it was weird (´▽`)

...

Some people just have more luck than others. What they have others can't have.

hmm... that's true. some people are just born blessed, there's really nothing that can be changed about that

Yeah, you can't. And you can't compete with them either.

well, some people are just naturals at stuff. depends on how much you want to succeed, i guess.

i want to succeed at all costs!! ヽ(`◇´)/

well
that might be a little bit extreme, actually... almost any cost, then?

yeah, i'd be questioning your sanity if you were willing to do literally anything.

but i guess someone who's a natural or whatever will probably succeed at something more than someone who isn't. well, if they make use of their talent, anyway.

hmm... so you can't really compete with natural talent, basically (`・ω・´)

I think it depends on what you consider to be a level of success.

As for me, I've never been able to fold a crane.

to be the best of the best!! ヽ(`◇´)/

there's nothing wrong with that! i'm also not too good at origami...

The very best, then?

I think even those who are born with talent must practice to keep their skill.

yep! undeniably the best!

so in that case, natural talent can still be overcome with hard work (`・ω・´)
