[ late at night, a message goes out on the PokéGear - ]do you think that if you try hard enough at something, then eventually you'll succeed at it? or are there some things that can't be achieved through just hard work? like, that there are somethings that people are just born good at, and that's something that can't be learned.

There are some exceptionally talented at certain activities, but even they have to practice or the skill goes to waste.

but what if they do work hard? then can people without that natural talent still catch up, you think?

It would depend on what the situation is. What do you think about it, Akaya?

i think hard work will beat just natural talent at some point!! no, it's more like... i have to believe that! and i'll definitely prove it's true, someday.

Practice and hard work is always worthwhile, but without a certain amount of innate talent, there are heights one may never reach.

You could try. Who knows, they might go easier on you if you tell them you're just innately bad at English.

It depends entirely on how you define achievement. Lacking any talent whatsoever, hard work alone might elevate one to competence, or even skill. But natural talent isn't something that can be replicated solely through effort.

well, i want to be the best of the best, of course!! ( ・ω・)

hmm... that's the kind of practical answer i expected from you, i think.

Hard work alone wouldn't be enough to let you stand toe to toe with our three demons.

Something's bothering you, isn't it?

I think anyone can succeed as long as they put their mind to it.

You'll just have to keep working hard and not give up! The support of your friends will definitely help too, if you're feeling unsure.
