So. Holy shit. I'm getting my tattoo in two days and I'm scared out of my mind. I'm so excited and definitely not gonna back down but I'm starting to get really FREAKIN' worried about the pain. LKHFSKDJHFDS. EVERYONE WITH TATTOOS, CONVINCE ME IT'S NOT THAT BAD. Because it probably isn't but the anxiety is driving me crazy.

Honest to God, I promise you it's not that bad. Don't you have an industrial piercing? I know piercings - tattoo pain is not really something you can relate together, but if you can live through that (and I heard that one hurts really bad, especially healing) then you can live through a tattoo. Ask a friend to give you an indian burn or a rug/brush burn. That's about the pain level it is. Plus, after a few minutes, your endorphines(sp?) kick in and it starts to numb. Just make sure to eat before and after and don't take any blood thinning medications or aspirin or anything before. And if you're a bleeder, let them know that ahead of time. I assume you're just getting that word and nothing else? It shouldn't even take that long then.

I can honestly tell you that it only hurt twice, the rest of the time it was just an irritating bzzzz that seemed to never end! and it truly does help to have a group go with you to distract you and keep your spirits high. :)
