Even though 4 or 5 years have passed and I know he's clean and I rarely worry about him relapsing, I still manage to have at least one dream nightmare a year where he's using again, he has disappeared and left syringes and terror in his wake. My current friend situation isn't working anymore. My self-esteem is at an all-time low. I've never had friends who lie to me as much as these people do.
