My flight to Denver got in a bit early so my layover is going to be four hours. The Democratic Convention is going to be here next week so the airport has lots of signs celebrating that they're the host city. I stumbled across the hq of Real Networks today. The temptation to duck in and tell them what a piece of crap RealPlayer has become was over powering. But in the end I decided that they already have to live with their suckatude so why bother with it.

I wanted to get away from the heat in Atlanta... just to bring it with me. It is going to be 102 on Friday! WTF?

Other than that, Portland has been great so far. I'm off to a Happy Hour with twenty people I haven't met yet.

Anytime I see a helicopter hovering over my building while walking home, I know something is up. One time it was because it had just been announced that the Georgia Aquarium was being built across the street from me instead of the originally planned location, Atlantic Station.
