I tried! My brain has been tuned to the Loki channel since May. I mean, he's basically Snape, except hot and actually evil.

You need to see the "Thor" deleted scenes. They are full of Loki.

wow. Those matter. Loki didn't have a long term plan. First mischief ruining Thor's big day. Then the opportunity to make Thor look bad by goading him into going after the ice giants. He couldn't have known Thor would get banished. He didn't realize he would become king. He couldn't have known Odin would take his nap. It was once he was king that he went a bit crazy with the plans and willingness to sacrifice Thor. His mothers "make your father proud" did it I think.

Does anyone believe the "never doubt I love you?" I think i do. Its just that his issues come first. :-)
