Tomorrow, November 11 is Peppero Day. Peppero is a snack here in Korea which is actually just thin bread sticks covered in chocolate. Koreans think that November 11 or 11/11 looks like sticks so they decided to call it Peppero Day. We received a few of them today and a few days back as well and they are really delicious.

So many students have been mentioning that today is "ipdong" or start of winter in Korea. There are places wherein the snow already fell and though it is not yet happening in Busan, I think I wouldn't have to wait long.  It has been windy these past two days and it adds to the coldness of the place.  The cold I could probably bear but the wind is ( Read more... )

I haven't been able to post regularly though that was originally one of my plans here in Korea. Maybe at first I was shocked with the price of the internet connection for 1 hour so I just spent that time checking my e-mail. Nothing in particular to say but I hope to be able to post pictures in the next few days. I would really like to write my experiences here in Korea but work is keeping me busy and I am always tired at the end of the day. I am almost finished in sorting out the things that I would be leaving behind. I already placed them in a box but did not seal it yet.  I realized that there was a lot of stuff that I had collected over the years but I only intend to keep those which has a meaning in my life. I would probably leave for Korea on September 20. That is just a week away and yet I am not completely preparing for it. What is wrong with me? I am actually still waiting for the plane tickets which a travel agency will give to me. Those things will make me realize that everything is real and I have to move fast.

Last Wednesday, I already passed the requirements needed and applied for a visa to Korea. The tentative date of release would be on September 8. I have been doing something eveyday for this week and my bad sleeping habits causes me to wake up early and sleep late which gives me a headache.
