The mods have released the hounds writers and artists to post their Big Bang efforts elsewhere, so I'll be posting this to my fic site and Wraithbait eventually.

Absolutely fabulous story. I was captivated from beginning to end, fascinated by the turns the story took. Work has been so stressful lately that I portioned out reading your fic, so that at the end of each work day I could look forward to finding out what happened next. So, I thank you for giving me something to look forward to, as by the time I'd finished reading the next bit of your fic, I'd forgotten all about that evilness of work.

I thought you did a brilliant job of showing how Earth would react to the Stargate program being declassified, as well as showing the effects that declassification had on the various characters. I was very impressed with how you handled the characters from SG-1 and SGA and their interactions. I adored the friendship between Vala and John. And the romance between John and Rodney was at turns heartbreaking and inspiring and just epic. Amazing writing. Thank you so much for sharing the story.

I'm glad it gave you a pleasant distraction and totally cop to the charge of writing an epic love story. Also to having a not so secret thing for putting John and Vala together, whether as friends or lovers. As a character, she really came through for me at the end.

I read this over the summer, and I've pretty much given up on being able to leave appropriate feedback. I honestly think this is the best fic I've ever read. It's so ambitious, and you pulled it off wonderfully. This has stuck with me for months, and it'll probably be with me for lots longer than that.

Thank you. Like every other writer I just see the bits I would like to have made better, so an outside opinion is treasured..

I wish I had something this nice in my email when I open it each day.

I loved the idea of Atlantis being their shining moment when their love and their careers and ideals coincided

Yes. Everything they'd been and done was leading to Atlantis and Pegasus. Anything after Atlantis - is post script. Something similar is true of the SG-1 characters: everything after the Goa'uld, after the magic foursome breaks up, really after Daniel's ascension, is postscript for them.

Thanks for redeeming Vala

I adore Vala and consider her the best reason to watch seasons 9 and 10 of SG-1.

I would have like a little less restraint at the end

I have the two settings: restrained or over the top. I think up the over the top scenes for my own entertainment, then strip them down to the bone for a story.

Well, being a total loser, I never did leave any feedback on this story even though it was a stunning reading experience and I have re-read it no less than 4 times since it was posted. I expect I will re-read it on an on-going basis: your fics often have that effect on me, except for Three Fates becuase I am a meanie and hate Elizabeth. Poor Dr Weir, the way TPTB massacred her character until I started despising her and actively hating her when I used to quite like her (the Stargate PTB have a lot to answer for... but I digress ( ... )

Oooh, you know, the late feedback is fine when you say things like I have re-read it no less than 4 times since it was posted.

Thank you very, very much.

I'm not sure where to begin; this story was amazing. I'm not normally a McShep person but although their relationship was the tie that binds, so to speak, it was the overall richness of the story and all its characters that was so wonderful ( ... )
