Eden made his way lazily toward the pier, where he had arranged to meet with Rémy. He figured such a public place would put the ghoul at ease, and from there they could find a more private place, perhaps a restaurant booth if Rémy was hungry, and talk privately

"I'm fine, darling, just fine," Eden pat Rémy's back with a gentle hand. "Enjoying all married life has to offer, as I'm sure you are. We're not quite finished unpacking yet, but we're in no hurry, so don't fret about it."
Eden stepped back, holding Rémy at arms length and looking into his eyes. "And how are you? Is Ryan being good to you? If he's not he'll have me to answer to, you know."
Eden fluffed Rémy's hair, glancing around before turning back to smile at him. "Are you hungry? Name a place and I'll take you there, and don't worry about the cost, I've got it covered."

When Eden queried about Ryan, Remy blushed slightly, still feeling sort of ashamed that they'd eloped, even though Ryan promised he'd gotten Eden's permission.
"Ryan is always good to me, Mister Frost. I love him, so much."
At this point, Remy can no longer ignore the press of tiny paws to his legs, and he ducks down, picking up the needy dog and cuddling him close to his chest.
"I'm not hungry, Mister Frost, but thank you. I ate earlier," Remy simply couldn't remember how much earlier. "And I couldn't leave Jaques outside."
Remy smiled up at Eden, one hand reflexively rubbing the spot right between Jaques's ears. He glanced down, noticing the look of his wedding ring and his heart gave a little flutter.
"We can go get coffee, or something? Well, I can."

Eden tucked a wayward curl behind Rémy's eat, letting his fingers linger a moment over Rémy's cheek before he took his hand, leading him off toward the café. Once there he lead Rémy to the most secluded table in the back and ordered for himself - something for appearance - and let Rémy order whatever he liked before paying, flashing the pierced and pentacled waiter his most charming smile when he brought them their coffees.
Eden looked down thoughtfully at his steaming, frothy drink, running the tip of one finger along the rim of the mug as he considered where to begin.

Remy smiled, a private little smile to himself when Eden ordered some long-winded something off the menu. Remy himself had a cinnamon soy latte, and ordered a plain almond biscotti and a glass of water with an empty bowl for the dog. The waiter didn't seem to mind the curious requests, and even brought the water with no ice, saving Remy the trouble of making a complete mess as he was often wont to do.
Jaques settled down on the chair beside Remy after having a few laps of water, gnawing on the piece of biscotti Remy had given him as if it were the best of all treats.
The dog's needs taken care of, Remy took a sip of his latte and turned his attention back to Eden. He kept his voice low, in just in case Eden needed to talk business.
"Is something wrong, Mister Frost? You seem distant."
