Running Down The Clock

Not much room left in 2014 for surprises. The last one was that the roof had been traumatized this summer and needed some emergency repairs over lunchtime today before the winter rains. I keep saying I should post more too. Unless I actually post, that's not going to happen.

I took a trip down memory lane and went back in my LJ a few years. Felt weird. Time seems to make what's so important now, not so important in the future. I learned to work on who I am, not what I'm doing or want to achieve.

Always enjoy seeing you and others on my posting schedule come up for air. I can always be found making a fool of myself here in November.

Casey,

I totally missed Namblopomo in 2014. To confound it further, I'm trying to remember all that went on in that month. That singular fact is vexing enough that I regret not maintaining the journal. I've spent a week in each of the last four months working out of town (and I'm wondering if I need to report that on my taxes...), took two working staycations so I didn't throw away too much PTO this year; one in November and one in December. I've only put 60 miles on my Kymco since November 21st and I'm missing my riding "therapy".

Your right about time. The older we get, the faster time goes. For the most part, 2014 seems like a blur. I hope that 2015 doesn't move by any faster!

Thank you! Best wishes to you and your family as well.

Glad I was able to catch up a little with you in 2014. Was out in Houston again just before Christmas, but it was a very busy trip so I didn't have time to visit. Center's done, tough.
