It is truly incredible what the things that other people do to tear us down can trigger within us that will finally build us up again. I feel a little squeamish right now, honestly, because I too was a quiet person that people thought wouldn't speak out. I had guessed a lot of entries this week would be triggering. But I'm proud of you. Affirmations are important. You're not what they made, you're what you made you, and you're magnificent.
:wraps her arms around you: I'm so sorry this was triggery for you. I'll be honest and tell you writing it brought some things out in me that I didn't want to deal with. Its a neverending process I'm finding. Just when I think I've got it I've got to deal with it again.
Thank you for being supportive, it is in numbers that we often find strength.
*nodnodnod* That's so true. I'm always amazed at the things that survivors will be persecuted or labeled for. Nobody understands that they're just trying to cope.
