:laughs: Honestly? I kind of gave myself the heebie jeebies too. :D I don't know where this entry came from, it's not my normal style. But I had to get it out or I was going to burst!

Thanks for the comment, my stomach has hurt ever since I wrote it wondering if it was good enough.

I loved the way the lyrics were intertwined with the story. It gave the whole piece a rhythmic feel!

Oh thank you for saying that!! I have had such a mixed bag of thoughts about the lyrics and I've always loved it when writers added them. And I just love this song!

Thank you. :) Honest opinion, do you feel like I maybe should have fleshed it out more? I've been angsty about this entry since I posted it and I would relish the feedback.

I love lyrics in a short story, I really do. It gives it a tempo.

It's great to see another horror fiction writer.

I was relieved when I saw your entry I have to admit. I was afraid I was going to be the only person in this contest who ever got that horror itch.

Writing horror is what I do best. For this week's entry, though, I had to turn it down a bit -- and remember that I'm as verbose as Lovecraft, which isn't a nice way to write an LJ Idol entry.

Ooohhh Lovecraft. I have a Cuthulhu love icon on my other journal that I just adore.

Have you ever read Neil Gaiman's crossover Sherlock Holmes/Lovecraft? He weaves those old ones in so well. And Sherlock Holmes....:girly sigh:
