oonagh who insists on walking! everywhere! without holding hands! and she screams!
Sounds like someone at my house. I say we let the two of them run off together (not holding hands, of course). How much trouble could they possibly get in?

I'm sorry that your day ended up this way. It's too hot for that nonsense. And just so you know, we are friends that will help. Just let us know. We often think that maybe one or more of your kids would like to join us on one of our days out, but I don't want anyone to feel bad about being left out. Like, could we take Mingus for a playdate without Sadie freaking out? Or vice versa? Regardless, they are all always welcome here because they are lovely and we like having them around.

Also, we are leaning towards skipping the whitesbog thing and just going to Conte's tomorrow morning. Leaving around 8:30 or 9 since my kids will be up at 6:30 anyway and doing the kerplink-kerplank-kerplunk before it gets stupid hot and everyone starts whining and taking their clothes off. Call me.

8 is great. And now I will be singing the King of Eight song all night. Excellent.

I'd totally be there to help in an instant. All of that seems so familiar, and wouldn't phase me. Hang tight.
