 I could begin BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ now and be finished by about 4:30 tomorrow afternoon.  Mind, little else will be done and there will be several very short intermissions.

After a trip to the store of healthy and organic foods, I slipped over to the Dollar Tree for a pie cutter. Instead, I came away with a cake slicer that might be used by the thriftiest of caterers (whatever that might mean). I also bought a new wheel d'pizza.  For the sake of science, I volunteered to do a nutritional comparison of Girl Scout cookies and Little Debbie snackcakes.  A friend suggested "...that's a waste of time.  Go find something else to compare."

Tonight, I'll attend my first Oscar party in 14 years.  The last was the year FORREST GUMP swept PULP FICTION.  My reaction was not gentlemanly and I harbor a paranoid belief that I've been banned from subsequent televised award gatherings. Or it could be that I've declined such invitations. I forget.
