So that guy who jumped on the subway tracks in NY to save a fallen teenager--Wesley Autrey?--used to work with my dad. On a ship, back when they were in the Navy. And he was like, ZOMG WOW! and I was all, finding old friends on Myspace is nothing, if you can find them on CBS news. ;)

I read the story and it was... amazing :o

You don't usually hear stories likes this since articles involving commuter deaths seem to be on the rise. The station near my house was recently closed off for investigation after a woman was killed by an oncoming train.

This made the news way over here in Aus.

What a total hero that guy was. They should give him some kind of award. I dunno if the US has it, but on Australia Day we give out bravery awards to people who do things like that.
