I went to my friend's band concert today. It was part of the American-Japanese Friends Festival or summat like that, and we'd all gone to crowd round our clarinet-flinging and trumpet-bashing friends. Tomorrow I am going to Beppu. There are hot springs, and cautionary tales of a sex museum and numerous, blatant sex shops. Personally, I find it a little odd that these are the two main 'attractions' (the hot springs I am sure are lovely, but as for the latter...).
