Today concludes my first week in second year. I managed to read the bulk of Plato's Republic and Descartes' First Meditations. Despite initial wariness, I'm now a converted fan of Greek philosophy, but the latter's pointlessness is astounding.

Yesterday I went out in the rain, wearing only a cardigan (no, you pedants, I was not naked waist-down).
