It's so sad, isn't it. Unfotunately I've never had the chance to listen to him live in a concert.
Do you already know when you'll be in Vienna?

I don't know! The meetings are continually postponed or transfered to Bruxelles, and my mother continues to have other stuff to do than go with me to Vienna.. grr... and at the moment I simply don't have enough money to plan travels which are not either financed by work or costs at least shared by somebody else.. :( ! But we will meet before the year ends, that is in my resolutions!!!

Best Freischütz ever. Thank you so much, maestro, and adieu. :(

There was an interesting interview with Placido Domingo on National Public Radio in the United States about Kleiber and how deeply he will miss him.

Thanks.
I'm really crazy for his live rec Tristan. The studio rec is not that touching. Oh and his Rosenkavallier.

Meanwhile I got both of his Tristan recordings, his Freischütz and some Symphonies. If I have time I'll go to the interview at the Musikverein next week. Muti talksabout his souvenirs on Kleiber.
