you could always make it AU, which totally nullifies the need for korean elements =)

It'd seem so much more authentic if I wrote in in a Korean background, though. Kind of like the difference between DBSK singing Korean vs Jap haha. But I'd really have a ball if I wrote fics with Homin as Japanese XDXDXD
