i found myself talking to my father this evening.....strange but very comforting. i lost my father today.... i mean he died, but i feel like i lost him three weeks ago... my heart is breaking but i know he would want me to go on.....i can't even begin to say how i feel.... i thank everyone for the love they are sending.....

well .... finally..... after visiting all the agencies and doing their damn tests over and over again (they seem to think I have muddled through all these years without knowing how to type and spell), going to interviews for ridiculously underpaid jobs, and being told that I was asking for too much money! Although steeve has not been very good about posting to his blog due to lack of access in some of the areas he is cycling through, he called yesterday and asked that I let everyone know that he is 300 km west of Ottawa and is hoping to be back in Montreal by Monday, July 28, barring any more mishaps ... or lousy weather!

Just got into the office. Have been up since 3:00 a.m. and at the airport since 5:00 a.m. Got Steeve to the airport with his bike box and hockey bag.... of course they made us open and empty the bike box *sigh*.
