Haha you've nailed that metaphor on the head there, that describes my long weekend too.

If you ask me the glass is half empty, dirty, chipped and there's a dead bug floating in it.

Actualy the glass can't be poisioned, as this would mean that the glass being half empty would become positive not negative, essentialy creating a right from 2 wrongs.

I agree with that whole pessimist arguement, & reminds me very much of the Sandman way of thinking. Then again, he also believes in using the second last toilet in public bathrooms, & for some reason I still follow that valueable lesson today. Anyway, I agree with you, that is all.

Maybe it is linked to the "Alien effect"; it is the person who goes first and the one that follows last that get knocked off by aliens, killed by traps, assassinated etc.
