I mostly work from home and I also live alone. This does mean that I spend quite a lot of time on the sofa most days. And thus live in a continual state of guilt for not doing anything. With minor corrections that I should get done easily this week. Viva was mostly fine. They were kind and interested and didn't ask the questions that I really didn't want them to. So I have some typos to correct and a few explanatory and concluding paragraphs to add. And then I am DONE. You may all address me as Dr Clarke. -

The thesis did not get submitted before my holiday. I am mostly okay with this. I have got corrections from proofreaders to implement and a couple of last minute things to read and put in to it. Boring thesis timetable needs somewhere to go
So I'm putting it here for my own reference, really. To remind me what needs to happen every day.
11th: check through chapters 1-3 and email to proofreaders; read Jamie's comments on chapter 5
12th: chapter 5 edits; send in notice to submit and external examiner forms
13th: finish conclusion and send to Jamie
14th: chapter 5 edits
