Life-long goals

It has recently be brought to my attention that the things I stand for aren't important. I can think of worse things to waste your life on. It is really sad that we live in a time when you can purchase different emotions once you turn 21. Well, I guess people just don't have imaginations. I'm not saying people shouldn't drink, you can do what the ( Read more... )

people are stupid and weak. we are much much much stronger in every way than them because we can take life's shit and deal with it ourselves, instead of relying on, say, the captain.

If you're talking about the Avengers, they totally don't rely on Captain America. They all do their part. Especially Hank Pym. Because he beats his wife. He's the best Avenger.

there are some people that make drinking a habit and it destroys them and their families. they are alcoholics. what i want to know is why you feel like drinking at all does that? you are of course entitled to your opinion and i do not mean to undermine it in anyway. i just wonder what makes you feel like you know everything there is about consuming alcohol when you never have. if i am a parent and i drink a beer on the porch one night with friends, does that mean that the next step i take will be to spend all the baby's formula and diaper money on beer? i think not. as i said before, we are all entitled to our own opinions, but i think that you should try to put aside your ignornaces when deciding how other people should live their lives. there are so many causes much more in need of your zeal. that's all

I'm sure what I said came off as rash and closed minded. And I apologize if it did. I get really defensive and emotional, especially in stressful time, this being one of those times. I really was just upset but most of what I said is aimed at a few people that I know. I won't name names for sake of peace. ButI was not saying that everyone who drinks ends up like that. I was saying that when you let it become bigger than people, then it becomes a problem, I appreciate your advice.

and i thank you for point of view. it's important to listen to everyone's thoughts. and i agree fully with you that it can become a very big problem when any substance begins to take over your life whether that be alcohol, drugs, or anything else, really. if you have a friend with a problem, remember that you can't make them stop. they have to want to. i have lost touch with a very close friend of mine due to the dangers of alcohol consumption. also remember that people turn to substances as an escape sometimes. anyway, glad we had this talk. what's ridiculous is that we could never have done this in person. regardless, have a lovely day and thank you for responding to my opinion.

compared to popular belief...i don't hate you and i haven't spent any extra time trying to make you miserable. we did that to each other. can't we just let all the old stuff go? i won't talk to you, but maybe we can just agree to disagree. i don't like for people to hate me and i know that you (and all your friends) think that i am the devil and have horns and a key to hell and all that, but maybe we just don't have anything in common and things are over. i wish we could just move on. i won't comment anymore, just wanted to say that. keri
