The story of my eye, a wedding, a funeral and, hopefully, a holiday

Cesar Millan makes me want a dog. I’m not a dog person, but he makes me think I could do it. Damn you Cesar Millan! I do love watching his show, though. He’s much better than the other guy, the one who seems really angry and aggressive all the time ( Read more... )

Ouch, poor eye!

I own a pair of heels too (which I also bought for a wedding!) and I didn't even make it half an hour before I was walking around in my stockings. And you wore yours to work! You have better endurance than me. :P

the CNIB would take you in a heartbeat if you walked in with funky looking eye!

As for the eye thing...happens if you have been doing any straining ....liking lifting lots of heavy stuff..I know this first hand...from four years ago.

Glad you were finally able to get your eye looked at. I've had popped blood vessels before - they're nothing to worry about, but they are pretty scary looking! I'm lucky that my Dad's an optometrist, so I can get instant expert advice for all my ocular needs :)

That's awesome that you're auditioning to record audio books! I hope it works out.

I'm sorry to hear about Adam's uncle - I hope his family are doing okay.

Oh ouchy eyeball! I didn't think you wore lenses, they made your eyes itch? Although lenses have improved a lot over the years, these days I can wear the ones you leave in all the time for 30 days (Renee has them too). I love 'em, especially last year when I was getting up during the night for feeds!

Have fun at the cottage, sounds like just the R & R you need. :)

I thought you must have been busy lately so it's good to hear all your news. How I wish there were photos of you at the wedding! I'm sorry to hear of Adam's uncle's death; I hope his passing was peaceful. It sounds like you've found a good optometrist at last!
