Wednesday we did the errand thing. Did up the grocery list that day and promptly left in on the fridge. I think because we had our brains tuned to the list as we made it we did not fail to miss an item.  I did make the chicken meatball recipe on Saturday. I remember thing that adding garlic powder to the meatballs was a bit weird as the was already fresh garlic in the recipe. I didn't have fresh dill for the sauce that would later go on the meatballs at the table so I substituted fresh cilantro. The meatballs took a little longer to cook than the ( Read more... )

We had one day of notice (a sign that said it was today and telling you to the water board office or check on line for details) that our water would be off supposedly between 8 and noon. Also the waterboard office is only open until noon each week day and we saw the sign at 2 pm.  We are at 3:36 pm and still no water. And since it is late fall it ( Read more... )

I get it seems late to eat dinner this late. It is what happens sometimes. For the record should anyone care it was eggs and sautéed mushrooms (brown), pablano peppers and red onion. I wonder if I can remember what has happened since my last post. I know I woke up every day. Good job! That is step one of being in the world. There is not a great deal to report. Groceries/errands on Wednesday were a bit of a joke really. We didn't need much so it was quick and relatively painless. We even sat by the sea before heading home with our items.
