Sometimes, I have a bit of brain-space to spare. That usually happens when I'm fairly idle, don't have a whole lot taking up my attention, or when I'm actively avoiding thinking about something unpleasant. If just looking for a job guarantee's a minimum wage, how could a small busienss afford to pay less then minimum wage? This is in affect the same as maintaining the minimum wage as far as small business's are concerned. Your job has to offer more then the non-job option for people to accept it... Ah ok I think I missed a point.

Your saying even people currently working still get a minimum wage in addition what their job pays them? If that's the case then I see what your proposing.
