I stepped down as AMST-Awakening, as most Cam folk on my LJ already know. The decision wasn't easy, but I think it was the right one. Finished my first week of work this Friday. The job is menial and tiring, rather long in hours... but it's a decent job while I look for others. I like the people (some are even gamers!), and the attitude of the place is pleasantly laid back. Well, the SC RST election has now begun. It started with three candidates, none of whom were from Baton Rouge. It now has 8 candidates, three two of whom (including me) are from Baton Rouge. I find that rather amusing.

Sometimes, I have a bit of brain-space to spare. That usually happens when I'm fairly idle, don't have a whole lot taking up my attention, or when I'm actively avoiding thinking about something unpleasant. Thanks to Mitch, I have temporarily acquired the Dresden Files RPG. Quite a bit of time today was spent reading it, and I have decided that it is awesome. I will have to find time to run a campaign for folks. :)
