First rule of self-defense, you know. Never drink a potion someone just offers you. And especially not one that just appears in the middle of a town square. Bloody hell.

Anyone ever thought of starting a dueling club of some sort? It might be difficult to organize, seeing as some of us use magic and some don't, and those who do use magic seem to ( Read more... )

I just don't understand why anyone would...

[A brief pause. She's been keeping up with the journals, so her next question isn't totally out of the blue, though it may seem so.]

...Do you think you're in love with me?

What? No. I do not. [Pause.] Not that you're not...lovely. Just, I hope you understand. There's someone else.

That's good, I didn't want you to, I just heard some people were falling in love with...

Wait, someone else? Like who?

Magic? Potions? What do you mean?

That fountain thing, of course. Clearly it was put there magically, for some nefarious purpose.

...I thought it was a little strange, Did it do something to the people here?

From the sound of it, yes. I've been avoiding the town centre for that very reason the past couple of days.

[Yeah, just not going to comment on the fountain thing, since she did get in a sip or two. Does feel sheepish about it now, though.]

A dueling club sounds like a fun idea. I don't mind random sparring, but it would be nice to see a little more organization, too.

Exactly. Organization would be good - it helps to establish a routine, y'know.

I don't mind pairing up with anyone, though, whether or not their abilities are similar to mine. It's good to have a challenge, you know?

I'll ask around and see who else might be interested.

I just hope some have learned their lesson. Merlin's beard, I'm hardly a Mad-Eye Moody, but even I know not to just take anything that's offered.

You don't usually fight in pairs?

All the time, but just relying on chance meet-ups isn't doing it for me lately. With a bit more organization, we could all benefit.

For training you mean. [Ritsuka could use training, but he's been content for now to just have a ball with him here. Still...]

When would this be?

Yes, training, and exercise, and meeting new people, and fun.

Not sure. Whenever people want to, I suppose. One afternoon a week or summat?
