In my last lesson, Susan told me that she had read that belly dancing was good for vocalists.  It works all the right muscles for our breathing.  She then said that maybe we should have a class on belly dancing in Opera Workshop this year.

Terrifying.

I'm taking Italian 1 and 2 over the summer as part of my vocal performance requirements.  Lucky me, I ended up with the best teachers ever.  Unfortunately, I say that with sarcasm ....(though they are great) because they are the hardest teachers ever.  Atleast I'll learn a whole bunch.  There are eight students in my class and two teachers.  Franco ( Read more... )

Today at work I dropped alot of stuff.

Gave someone the wrong credit card.

Carded someone after they were drinking their beer.

Wrote down several wrong table numbers.

It took me 45 minutes to remember to bring another round of Miller Lts. to A6.

Took an order for hot dogs...which we don't sell.

My friends rock.  I really never thought that my friends would be my world, but I thought about it last night and I can't imagine my life without my 4 or 5 best friends.  They really are my family.  I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life...

In other news, I miss Lacey.

I'm really happy.  In general, in life, I'm really happy. 

My new glasses came in!  :o) Unfortunately, I'm so used to my contact lenses that they feel mighty funky.  I'm still happy, though.  Hopefully my eyes will adjust shortly.
