LOL, you're welcome. It's a copy-and-paste repost from another post, I just realized that I have some tutorials that were crowded with 3 or 4 in one post, so I split them up into separate posts so it was easier to direct link them. This one, especially, makes me think I really need to update them :P

Corsets: Historical Patterns and Techniques by Jill Salen
ISBN: 0896762610
Own: Yes

Has 22 half-scale gridded patterns of historical corsets and stays, accompanied by 1-2 photos of the garment and a few paragraphs explaining details of construction and the particular place the garment has in history. Patterns are well drawn; anyone who is comfortable altering patterns should have no trouble adapting the patterns to suit.

Stays and corsets in the book are dated: 1750, 1780, 1780-5, 3 x 1790, 1798, 1830-40, 1840, 1860, 1880-5, 1885, 3 x 1890, 2 x 1890-1900, 1890-1910, 1900-10, 1900-5, 1914, 1917. There are no mid-bust s-bend corsets. All s-bend styles are the short-torso/long-hip silhouette. Several ribbon corsets are included.
