i wish i had read this earlier, the best moon watching spot is the de leon pier near daytona. its near a lighthouse.

mabey i can.... i dont think i will take photos though, you have to have very specialized equipment for photographing the moon or stars, and i dont have it. the moon will just be this really small white cirle in my lens...

on the news they said that if you can see the moon you can see the eclipse so it shouldn't really matter where you end up.

yeah...but some places are darker without the city lights and then you get the moon and the stars and the beautiful. and some places are just a lot nice to be in general.
but by the time i meet my moon-watching buddy i dont think will have time to get anywhere more special than his backyard.
