going to college hardly makes you a "grown up" -- in fact, college and even grad school were all invented to prolong childhood as much as humanly possible. i know 22-year-olds who are infinitely less mature than some 18-year-olds that i know. "grown up" has nothing to do with physical age, just how you feel and act. there's also a "good" growing up (i.e. becoming more responsible, confident, and independent) and a "bad" growing up (i.e. becoming jaded, joyless, bored, and boring) -- and while i don't know you all that well, i'm pretty convinced that you're not the type to confuse the two.

Trust me honey, Junior year is the worst. Once you get out of it, Senoir year is a total breeze. And this is coming from a total spazz.
