This one will have to be quick. We are currently in a small (?) town in North-West Catalunya, which is called Manressa (I think it is, anyway), where I've bought some internet time at a computer next to a man who keeps sniffling in a most revolting fashion. Very tempted to hand him a tissue, but don't want to seem rude

Hello! I'm still in Woodbrige, VA, a bit south of DC, working in that general area, and my company just changed the pay scheduled from salaried to hourly, which may well work out in our favor, even if the numbers look worse at the outset. :P
