Language in Europe

That's quite peculiar. I've taken several years of French, and I'm sure that I could get the basic gist of spoken French, better with written, maybe get along reading Spanish, and I'm sure that's it. Certainly no Italian, Finnish, norwegian, Swedish, Danish, or German comprehension. :)
