Hi! Great to hear from you, am so pleased you weren't dead/kidnapped/raped/murdered etc etc. Sounds like you've been having a GREAT time, so good Anu could come over to Finland for new year as well, you all would have had a blast. The photos were great. We had a fantastic Christmas, with lunch with Ros, Steve and a whole heap of friends down at Brunswick Beach, then tea out at Gregs farm with all of us. Cabarita is just near Tweed Heads, and we had a unit there for the week. The weather was OK, but overcast a few days, so we went and checked out all the sales at the big shopping centres up there, also got to the beach and had plenty of time to look around the area. We took our newish Mazda 3, and Dad absolutely loves it. After the week at Cabarita, we went up to Maroochydore and saw Dee, Pete, Elissa, Clayton and also CHris & Renee were home, we all went out for lunch at the pub. So glad to hear that hilarity prevails in Finland! Aki looks so funny all butch and moustachioed. :)
I'm glad that Black Books arrived safe and sound. The Bill Bailey DVD is hilarious. Anna has it too, so we had a good giggle over Christmas.
Our moving plans are very much progressing!!! We've applied for about 25 houses (it pays to keep our options open) and we're planning to move between 22nd and 30th of January, so it's less than two weeks to go! AAAAGH!! We're so excited, but it's going to be very very big.
I know you'll be busy getting back into work when you get back, but you definitely have to make some time to see us! We'll be gone pretty much forever in a few weeks and we'd love to see you before we go. Let me know when you get back and we'll try and squeeze into your busy timetable, allowing you some time to de-jetlag-ify first, of course.
Oh, hi. Sorry, you posted a reply on my journal many months ago, and I never replied to your reply. Sorry!
Anyway, yes. I lived in Tampere in 1998 and went to school at Tykki. My husband and I went there last year to see some friends. I still really love Tampere... if only I could move there... But I guess Canberra is a good alternative. :)
