So I'm cleaning up (again) and reorganizing (also AGAIN) my supplies in the basement, all I can say is it is a very good thing I am.  Several paints were about to dry out.  Some sadly had but I was about to lose a lot more.  Oddly, some were still sealed...yet dried out.  Others...I've had since the '90s...are still fine.  Weird ( Read more... )

So I had a good time at Balticon despite some issues.  The issues weren't the con's fault.  Heck, they weren't any one's fault.  But they were a learning experience.  So I now know what I am able to still do & what I can NOT do.  Boo-hiss.

Well, it's been a fun week.  For what ever the reason, this time of year my internet connection just really SUCKS.  Everything takes twice as long to load & quite a bit refuses to load or loads incorrectly.  Not sure why but this happens every May.  A couple of former co-workers told me that they noticed their connections get sluggish too.  Maybe ( Read more... )

So I went shopping to get the little things needed to finish costumes.  I actually found what I wanted too.  Plus other stuff I DID NOT NEED.  *sigh*  The allure of a pretty color in a fabric I love to sew with...  Yup, bought stuff I shouldn't of.  I was weak.  But...I already have it cut out & sewn together.  All I need is to hem it & add trim.  ( Read more... )
