Talk about blown out of proportion.

I found it a little sick that Russell Brand's resignation got top billing on the BBC news, whereas the little scrote who kicked Sophie Lancaster to death for dressing as a goth got his sentence reduced, and this got pushed down to item 7. I mean, FFS, the deaths of several hundred people in an earthquake got lower billing than Woss's suspension.

You know what really annoyed me about this whole thing...

Do you know how many complaints this show got by its actual listeners (you know, the people who actually heard the thing when it was broadcast)? 2.

So that means that over 30,000 people complained because they heard sound bytes of it on the news 2 weeks after the show actually aired and decided to sheep along with the bloody tabloids...

Amusingly, one of my friends in Nottingham knows the girl in question. He says that she's not stupid, and is most likely lapping up the attention for her (subscription) website.
